S H E D Derby Voice
Work created by dozens of young Derby artists took centre stage in an innovative exhibition set outside Derby Cathedral. Derby Voice is a collaborative creative arts exhibition involving 300 young people from the city of Derby. This thought-provoking installation features artwork ranging from podcasts and videos to murals and music and offers a platform for young people to communicate their thoughts and opinions on contemporary issues that matter to them. Participants have drawn on the influence of the Black Lives Matter movement, LGBTQ+ rights, mental health, education reform, employment opportunities, bullying and barriers to opportunities.
