Artcore
Artcore is an international centre for contemporary art and creativity based in Derby, UK. It is home to Artcore Gallery, studios and work spaces as well as a shop and cafe. A vibrant hub for commissioning, production, presentation and debate, we offer opportunities for diverse audiences to engage directly with creative practices through participation and discussion.
Baby People
Baby People is a music and arts development organisation. The UK’s first dedicated Hip Hop school which uses art and culture to engage and support the needs of the most deprived in our communities. We believe that art and music can be empowering tools and forms of expression for people in all stages of life.
Déda
Déda, a creative centre for dance, movement and the arts based in the heart of the cathedral quarter in Derby – connecting locally, nationally and internationally. Déda has 3 studios, a 124 seat theatre and produces Derby Festé - an annual international outdoor street arts festival.
Derby LIVE
Derby LIVE is part of Derby City Council. We present and produce a diverse programme of live performances, events and festivals. We work with a wide range of cultural partners providing outdoor events management expertise, making Derby a vibrant place to live, work and visit.
Derby Jazz
Derby Jazz promote performances by some of the UKs leading jazz artists at venues across the city. Derby Jazz also deliver workshops, commission new music and support the development of local artists.
Museum and Art Gallery
Home to a fascinating range of nationally important collections, including the world’s largest collection of work by the 18th Century artist Joseph Wright of Derby alongside other splendid collections including natural history, world collections, archaeology and ceramics.
Museum of Making at Derby Silk Mill
Celebrates the area’s rich history of innovation as part of the Derwent Valley Mills UNESCO World Heritage Site, it tells Derby’s 300-year history of making to inspire new creativity. Designed and made by the people and industries of Derby.
Derby Theatre
Derby Theatre is the UK's leading professional, producing and learning theatre. Through its unique partnership with the University of Derby, and as an Arts Council England National Portfolio organisation, the Theatre has transformed from a traditional producing house, to an organisation of training, mentorship and artistic excellence.
Quad
QUAD is an international centre for engagement in contemporary art and film, focussing on major exhibitions, professional practice for artists, independent film and the creative use of emergent digital technologies.
Sinfonia VIVA
Sinfonia Viva is an orchestra and music education charity performing in traditional and unexpected places. We work with the young, the elderly and those with special educational needs to create music that we perform alongside them on stage.
EMCCAN
East Midlands Caribbean Carnival Arts Network - emccan supports and encourages better practice and increases artistic and management quality for East Midlands Caribbean carnivals and provides leadership to the wider carnival sector.
